An exciting opportunity now exists for an ambitious Bar & Brasserie Manager at Hodson Bay Hotel. This is a fantastic senior management position for someone that loves everything about Food & Beverage! As part of the Hotel Management team you will be responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the Hotel whilst ensuring our guests have a positive experience. You will lead and motivate the Food & Beverage Team to deliver outstanding levels of service. We work together as a team to ensure that we exceed guest expectations every time. We do this by ensuring the highest standards of products are on offer and by achieving excellent service standards at all times. Exceeding guest expectations is part of our service culture and as part of the Management team you will have a strong customer focus; you will meet and greet guests, respond to queries and oversee the smooth running of the Bar & Brasserie. Duties to include - Day to day running of the Bar & Brasserie Lead a team of Food & Beverage Assistants, Supervisors and Assistant Managers Continue to maintain and build a loyal and regular customer base Take every opportunity to maximise revenue Meeting and greeting guests Exceeding Customer service expectations at all levels To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints and issues that arise in the Bar Maintaining high standards of detail at every level HACCP Controls Maintain and audit hygiene levels Maintain and audit food quality levels with Chef To ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner Management of Rosters Performance management Recruitment and selection Requirements: A Minimum of 2 years experience at Manager level in a similar environment Possess Strong Leadership qualities Excellent communication, organisation & people management skills Ability to train new and existing staff Have an excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage & a strong eye for detail Applicant must have a good command of the English language.
