Our client, Cronin Furniture Limited, based in Killeagh, Co. Cork, is currently seeking Cabinet Makers for immediate start at their workshop in Killeagh, Co. Cork.
Key Role Responsibilities & Functions:
Responsible for building high-quality cabinets and custom furniture components according to technical drawings and production specifications
This role requires experience with woodworking machinery, hand tools, and a commitment to producing exceptional craftsmanship while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials to manufacture cabinets and furniture components.
Operate woodworking equipment including panel saws, table saws, edge banders, routers, planers, sanders, and drills.
Assemble cabinets and furniture using appropriate hardware, adhesives, and fastening techniques.
Install hinges, drawer slides, handles, and other cabinet hardware.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Perform sanding, fitting, and finishing preparation as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment.
Follow workplace health and safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality targets.
Requirements – Skills & Experience:
Candidates must be competent to perform all job duties detailed above
Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a cabinet maker, furniture maker, or woodworking technician in a manufacturing environment.
Candidates must have experience in a factory/manufacturing environment
Formal training or qualification related to cabinetmaking or carpentry is a plus but is not required
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and construction methods.
Knowledge of custom cabinetry and furniture manufacturing.
Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay Rate €18.05 per hour
Work Location: Cronin Furniture Limited, Burgess, Killeagh, Co. Cork, P36 DX88.
Number of hours work each week: 39 hours per week
