Bluebird Care Dublin South is seeking a Care Services Manager to support the Head of Operations / Head of Clinical in delivering strategic and operational leadership of homecare services, ensuring the effective delivery, performance, growth, and governance of services. The role is accountable for workforce strategy, operational performance, service development, stakeholder engagement, and achievement of organisational objectives while working collaboratively with clinical leadership teams.
Reporting to the Head of Operations / Head of Clinical, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving the strategic, operational, and financial performance of homecare services. This role leads office teams, oversees workforce planning and governance, manages KPIs and budgets, and identifies growth opportunities to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Governance & Performance
• Assume responsibility for operational performance across designated services.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), service utilisation, workforce productivity, and client satisfaction outcomes.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve service efficiency and performance.
• Provide regular management reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
Workforce Leadership
• Lead and manage Care Coordinators and administrative teams.
• Develop workforce planning strategies to support current and future service requirements.
• Oversee recruitment planning, retention initiatives, succession planning, and workforce development.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
Financial & Resource Management
• Support budget planning and resource allocation processes.
• Monitor operational expenditure and staffing efficiency.
• Contribute to financial performance targets and sustainable service delivery.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in senior operational management, healthcare service management, workforce planning, or organisational leadership.
