What you'll do Provide compassionate personal care and daily living support to elderly residents, including assistance with mobility, dressing, bathing, and mealtimes. Promote residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing by offering companionship, emotional support, and respectful person-centred care. Monitor and report changes in residents' health, wellbeing, or care needs, working closely with healthcare professionals and the convent community. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care at all times. What you'll bring QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support, Care of the Older Person, or equivalent. Minimum 1 year previous experience in a healthcare, residential care, nursing home, or caregiving environment. Must be Garda Vetted. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and respectful approach to caring for older people.
