The role involves carrying out a wide range of carpentry tasks, from reading technical drawings to the installation and maintenance of wooden structures and fittings. Key Responsibilities: -Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements; -Select, measure, cut, shape, drill, and assemble timber structures and fittings in accordance with plans using hand and power tools; -Install and fix wooden components such as doors, skirting boards, counters, partitions, decking, frames, shop fronts, furniture, and wooden templates; -Check accuracy and alignment of work using squares, rules, spirit levels, and other measuring tools; -Carry out maintenance and minor repairs on wooden structures and fittings as required; -Work as part of a team while adhering to site safety protocols.
