Full time 37.5 hours per week 5 Days over 7 €14.80 per hour Cleaning Operative Dublin Airport - Full time Please note: Due to airport security requirements, applicants must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity remaining, have a minimum B2 level of English, and be able to successfully complete Garda Vetting and Aviation Security Clearance. Employment is conditional upon meeting all of these requirements. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout Dublin Airport. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help ensure passengers, visitors and staff enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment at all times. This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and pride in your work are essential. What you will do: Carry out cleaning duties across a variety of airport locations, including terminals, public areas, offices, washrooms, staff facilities and other designated areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean floors using appropriate equipment. Clean and disinfect touchpoints, surfaces and communal areas. Empty bins and dispose of waste safely in accordance with procedures. Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Report maintenance issues, hazards or damaged equipment to the appropriate supervisor. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. Ensure all work is completed to Sodexo's quality standards. Deliver excellent customer service by assisting passengers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner. Follow airport security procedures and comply with all site regulations. Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently. What you will bring: Prior experience in a similar role Reliable, punctual and dependable. Good attention to detail. Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing, walking, lifting and bending throughout the shift. Ability to work flexible rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays. Good communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
