Shannon Precision Engineering Limited, a well-established company, currently expanding, are looking for highly motivated and skilled CNC Programmers/Setters to program and develop optimum machining strategies for CNC Lathes, Mill Turn and Multi Axis CNC Milling Machines (Doosan, Mori Seiki, Okuma, Huron) and Setters. Knowledge
of CAD software, CAM software, geometry, manufacturing processes, quality and cycle time optimisation, quality standards, and statistical process control. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Experienced setting up and programming 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines
• Experience with Doosan, Mori Seiki, Okuma, and/or Huron Milling machines
• Good understanding of Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T)
• Good understanding of inspection methods
• Confident communicator, Quality Orientated, Solution Provider
• Knowledge of Aerospace standards preferable
• Team Leader experience as an advantage
• Knowledge of the design aspects as an advantage
