Our partner is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setter / Operator to join their team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating advanced 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components for Aerospace sector. Ensuring all parts are produced to the highest quality standards while maintaining efficiency and meeting production schedules. Role: CNC Milling operator (5-axis) Reporting to: Production supervisor Shift: Evening - (Monday to Thursday) - 4pm to 12:30am / (Friday) - 3pm to 10:30pm Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience: · Proven experience as a CNC Milling Setter / Operator is preferable. · Experience with FANUC Controllers is preferable. · Must have a good level of English language. · Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings. · Familiarity with precision measurement equipment. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities: · Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines in line with programmed instructions. · Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings and specifications. · Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production work orders. · Carry out routine preventative machine maintenance (TPM) to ensure optimal performance. · Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring equipment, including verniers and micrometres. · Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and settings to maintain required tolerances and product quality. · Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment in compliance with company health, safety, and quality standards. · Accurately record production information and promptly report any issues or deviations to the Production Supervisor.
