Dublin, is currently seeking Diesel Engine Mechanics for immediate start at their two facilities in Co. Dublin. Key Responsibilities and duties - Diagnose, service, repair, and overhaul diesel engines used in heavy equipment, cranes, trucks, generators, and industrial machinery - To diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and related components in heavy equipment and vehicles - To conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and component replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications - To perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups to ensure optimal performance and reliability - To troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic software, tools, and technical manuals - To service and repair engine systems including fuel injection, turbocharging, exhaust, and cooling systems - To work with major engine brands such as Liebherr, Caterpillar, Cummins and MTU - To maintain accurate maintenance and repair records using company systems or service reports - To follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and ensure compliance with company policies - To liaise with supervisors and parts departments to ensure timely completion of repairs and availability of components Requirements: - Candidates must have the requisite experience and knowledge to perform all job duties listed above - Trade qualification or apprenticeship completion as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or equivalent. - Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience working with heavy-duty diesel engines in a field service role - Proven experience servicing and repairing engines from leading brands Liebherr, Caterpillar, Cummins and MTU - Strong understanding of engine diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. - Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins. - Proficient in the use of diagnostic and calibration tools. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Annual Remuneration: €56,784.00; Pay Rate €28.00 per hour Work Locations: - Armorum Limited, Kylemore Park North, Ballyfermot, Co.
