The Experienced Car & Truck Tyre Fitter is responsible for providing a safe, professional and efficient tyre fitting service across passenger vehicles, vans, light commercial vehicles, HGVs, buses, trailers, agricultural and industrial equipment where required. The successful candidate will represent the MTS brand at customer locations and must consistently deliver exceptional workmanship, customer service and health & safety standards. Key Responsibilities Tyre Fitting Fit, remove and repair tyres on: Passenger vehicles SUVs Vans Light commercial vehicles HGV trucks Trailers Buses Carry out puncture repairs in accordance with industry standards. Perform wheel balancing. Carry out wheel alignment (where trained). Torque wheel nuts to manufacturer specifications. Conduct tyre pressure inspections. Carry out tyre safety inspections. Measure and record tyre tread depths. Identify abnormal tyre wear and advise customers accordingly. Mobile Breakdown Service Where required, provide roadside emergency tyre assistance including: Commercial fleet breakdowns Emergency call-outs On-site tyre replacement Fleet inspections Temporary repairs where appropriate The employee may participate in an on-call rota
