With branches in Roosky, Co. Roscommon, Armagh, Cheshire and Hampshire, we are continuing to grow, and we are currently recruiting an External Sales Advisor to join our successful sales team in Roosky.
We are seeking a highly motivated, target driven individual with the ambition, energy, and commercial instinct to succeed in a fast-growing business. This is a sales focused role for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting them into profitable, long-term accounts.
You will be confident in communicating and negotiating at all levels, with the drive to grow existing key accounts while actively developing new business. A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, results orientated mindset are essential to consistently deliver sales growth.
Experience within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential. More important is a hunger to learn, a positive attitude, and the determination to succeed in a competitive sales environment. Full product knowledge and system training will be provided in-house to support your success.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing customer base while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. This is a target driven role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers face to face and closing deals
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
• Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers
• Promote the full product range and identify cross selling opportunities
• Accurately forecast sales and monitor performance against targets
• Maintain up to date and accurate customer records within CRM systems
• Liaise closely with procurement, warehouse, and branch teams to ensure excellent customer service, and stock availability
Experience / Skills
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a field-based sales role, with a proven track record of new business development and account growth
· Strong negotiation, influencing, and closing skills
· Confident, professional communicator with a customer focused mindset
· Results driven, self-motivated, and highly organised
· Exceptional attention to detail and follow through
· Ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment
