Founded in 1968 the Foundation has grown through continuously responding to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. We are seeking suitably qualified Healthcare Assistants on a permanent full-time contract. The responsibilities of the role will include; working as part of a dedicated team, as well as independently when required; build and maintain positive, professional relationships with service users and all stakeholders; support the day-to-day running of services, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all; ensure adherence and understanding of HIQA standards and residential care regulations; supporting individuals with disabilities who require the assistance of the foundation at the premises in Granagh. The main function of the role is to act as a Healthcare Assistant for St Josephs Foundation supporting persons with Intellectual Disabilities. Applicant must have QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or a relevant field and experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities.
