Every member of our team is fully qualified, professionally trained, and committed to making a real difference Purpose of the post: Home Support Worker provide essential personal care and support to individuals in homecare settings. They assist with daily living activities and contribute to delivering high-quality care as part of Komfort Kare team. Skills, competencies and/or knowledge: Experienced in Health/Caring Services with a person-centered approach Knowledgeable in Health & Safety regulations and the role of Home SupportWorkers. Skilled in planning, organisation, and working independently with flexibility. Strong team player, respectful of roles, adaptable, and open to change. Focused on patient care, empathetic, culturally aware, and an effectivecommunicator. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing,grooming, and toileting, while maintaining dignity and independence. Medication Assistance: Support clients in managing their medication asprescribed by their GP, adhering strictly to care plans. Nutritional Support: Prepare and cook meals in accordance with clients’ dietary requirements and preferences. Mobility Assistance: Aid clients with mobility and provide support to reduce fall risks, especially for those who are disoriented or have limited mobility. Health Monitoring: Carry out baseline clinical observations such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and urinalysis after completing necessary training. Independence Promotion: Encourage and motivate clients to maintain their independence by assisting only where necessary and as outlined in their care plan. Light Domestic Tasks: Assist with household duties such as laundry, light cleaning, and maintaining a tidy environment in the client’s home. Social Support: Provide companionship, read/write letters, and assist clients in maintaining social connections, with their consent. Safety and Emergency Response: Be vigilant in identifying hazards, attend to spillages, report any incidents or potential risks, and contact emergency services in critical situations. Client Advocacy: Act as an advocate for the client, ensuring their voice is heard and their needs are prioritized with dignity
