Sorcon Plant Limited is recruiting experienced HGV Tipper Drivers to operate both articulated tipper trucks and rigid tipper trucks, including 8-wheel tipper vehicles. Main Duties The successful candidate will be responsible for: Drive articulated tipper trucks to collect, transport and deliver aggregates, soil, excavated material and other construction materials between quarries, sites, disposal facilities and customer locations. Safely load, secure, transport, tip and unload materials while complying with vehicle weight limits, road-safety rules and site procedures. Complete daily vehicle inspections, report defects, maintain the vehicle in good condition and accurately complete tachograph records, delivery dockets and other required documentation. Comply with drivers’ hours, working-time and rest requirements, communicate professionally with customers and site personnel, and carry out other reasonable HGV tipper-driving duties. Essential Requirements Applicants must: Hold a valid Category CE driving licence Have demonstrable professional HGV driving experience Have a good understanding of vehicle checks, load security and safe tipping procedures Be able to work safely on construction sites, quarries and disposal facilities Be reliable, punctual and capable of working independently Be able to communicate effectively in English Be willing to travel to work locations throughout Ireland A clean criminal record is mandatory.
