Job Description & Key Requirements SQ Fabs is a leading stainless steel fabrication company based in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, manufacturing high-quality products for the pharmaceutical, medical, food, dairy and construction industries. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Lead General Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing quality work and wants to play an important role within a growing engineering company. The successful candidate will take responsibility for cleaning, finishing and inspecting stainless steel fabrications to ensure they meet our high-quality standards before dispatch. Duties include electrochemical weld cleaning, passivation, operating cleaning equipment, packing finished products, maintaining a clean and organised work area and assisting with general workshop activities. The role will also involve helping to train apprentices and continuously improving our finishing department. Key Requirements Good work ethic with a positive attitude. Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work on your own initiative. Experience in manufacturing, engineering or fabrication is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided. Forklift experience is an advantage but not essential.
