Duties and Responsibilities Lay bricks, blocks and natural stone in accordance with construction requirements. Prepare and apply mortar for brick and stone installation. Build, repair and maintain walls, partitions and other masonry structures. Measure and position materials to achieve accurate alignment and finish. Cut and shape bricks, blocks and stone using appropriate hand and power tools. Install masonry materials on new construction and repair projects. Check completed work to ensure a high standard of workmanship. Keep the work area clean and organised throughout the working day. Use tools and equipment safely and report any maintenance requirements. Follow company procedures and safe working practices on site. Requirements Previous experience as a Bricklayer or Mason. Ability to work with brick, block and stone materials. Good practical skills and attention to detail. Ability to read basic construction instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good level of spoken and written English. Knowledge of safe working practices in construction. Relevant construction experience is essential.
