Ashton Autos Limited is seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician with Auto Electrician skills to join our team in Oysterhaven, Co. Cork. This is a full-time, permanent position. Key responsibilities: Diagnose, service, and repair a range of vehicles including routine maintenance, brakes, suspension, and engine systems Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic systems, including wiring, starter motors, alternators, ECUs, and onboard diagnostics Carry out pre-NCT checks and general vehicle inspections Use diagnostic equipment to identify both mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs to manufacturer standards Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers on vehicle status Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with workshop procedures Requirements: Relevant trade qualification and/or proven experience as a motor vehicle technician and auto electrician — candidates must be competent in both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across both disciplines Full clean driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team
