Job Title: Plumbing Technician Employer: TMECH Heating & Plumbing Ltd Location: Ballymakeera, Co. Cork Salary: €36,605 p.a. Hours: 39 hrs/w Job Purpose The Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting and repairing plumbing and heating systems for domestic and commercial projects. The role requires carrying out plumbing work safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures, Irish building regulations and health and safety requirements. Main Duties and Responsibilities • Install, maintain and repair plumbing and heating systems. • Assemble, fit and test pipework, valves, fittings, sanitary ware and associated plumbing equipment. • Inspect plumbing and heating systems, diagnose faults and carry out repairs and routine maintenance. • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions. • Test completed installations to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. • Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned work. • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Irish building regulations, health and safety requirements and company procedures. • Maintain accurate records of completed work and communicate progress to supervisors and colleagues. Requirements • Previous experience in plumbing installation, maintenance or repair. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety. • Good communication and organisational skills. • Full clean driving licence is desirable.
