Why This Role?
This is not a "sit behind a desk and send emails" kind of sales job.
You'll be building relationships, meeting clients, attending events, spotting new business opportunities, and helping some of Ireland's biggest companies plan everything from conferences to corporate getaways.
You will work closely with our Sales Manager and experienced team while developing your own portfolio of accounts and creating new opportunities for the hotel. If you're competitive, people-focused, commercially minded, and love the thrill of winning new business, you will fit right in.
What You Will Be Doing
Building strong relationships with existing clients and growing key accounts
Identifying and securing new business opportunities
Meeting clients, hosting site visits, and showcasing everything the hotel has to offer
Representing Sheraton Athlone at networking and industry events
Following up on enquiries and converting leads into confirmed business
Using Salesforce to manage relationships and track opportunities
Working with our marketing team to help promote the hotel
Keeping up to date with market trends and identifying opportunities for growth
Collaborating with different departments to ensure clients receive an exceptional experience
Finding creative ways to increase revenue and drive business performance
