Their duties and responsibilities include:
• Loading, unloading and organising scaffolding materials.
• Erecting, altering and dismantling scaffolding systems safely and efficiently.
• Inspecting scaffolding structures to ensure they meet safety regulations.
• Ring-lock experience.
• Working from technical drawings and site instructions.
• Prepare site to a high standard
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance, reporting any defects or issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations always.
• Understand and be competent in emergency procedures and protocol.
• Work closely with management and the site team to meet production targets.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry best practice.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate with site supervisors and project managers regarding work progress, issues, and any necessary changes to plans or schedules
Requirements:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working as a scaffolder on construction sites, minimum 3 years.
• Diploma/Certification as a Scaffolder
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
