Niamh Barry Design, is an internationally acclaimed company. Since 2004 we have been developing and producing world class lighting and furniture design products for our clients across the globe. Projects we are currently working on include work for the USA, Australia, Asia, Middle East, Canada, Europe, UK and Ireland.
Due to the very high international demand for our work, we are hiring an experienced metal fabricator to join our dynamic, highly skilled team. This role is based in our very well-equipped purpose-built workshop, offering a variety of rewarding work across many aspects of our production
This role within the company will see you work directly with a small team of highly skilled metal fabricators and craftsmen.
You must be highly skilled at sheet metal fabrication with the highest standards of TIG welding, cutting, folding, rolling, shaping, assembling sheet metal structures and critically the ability to problem solve and simplify the production of the products manufactured in the workshop.
Experience and skills required:
5 years’ experience within a similar position
Tig welding
Abrasive wheel experience and training
Sheet metal fabrication experience
A curious mind and willingness to learn new techniques and processes
Flexible/hardworking attitude is essential
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Can problem solve and apply these solutions into the metal fabrication of the products.
Must work well in a team environment but also have the initiative to work on tasks without supervision

Mon - Thu 7.30am – 5pm
Friday – 7am – 1.30pm
