Rendering Supplies Ireland LTD are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpentry Foreman to join their growing team in Ireland. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate carpentry operations on residential, commercial, and construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. The role combines hands-on carpentry duties with the supervision and leadership of carpentry crews, apprentices, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily carpentry activities on site. Lead and motivate teams of carpenters, joiners, and apprentices. Allocate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure project deadlines are met. Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical plans. Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work where required. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of workmanship and quality. Liaise with project managers, site managers, clients, and other trades. Monitor materials, equipment, and labour requirements. Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures. Conduct site inspections and resolve issues as they arise. Train and mentor junior team members and apprentices. Essential Requirements Recognised Carpentry/Joinery qualification or completed apprenticeship. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Carpenter or Carpenter & Joiner. Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory, foreman, or leadership role. Proven ability to manage teams and deliver projects to schedule. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health and safety requirements. Desirable Requirements Safe Pass Certification. Manual Handling Certification. Full Clean Driving Licence. Experience supervising teams on residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of €21.37 per hour. Full-time permanent employment.
