We are establishing a new primary care medical practice in Ireland and are seeking an experienced General Role Overview We are establishing a new primary care medical practice in Ireland and are seeking an experienced General Practitioner / Family Medicine Specialist to take on the role of Clinical Lead. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced doctor who would like to combine clinical practice with a leadership role in the development of a modern primary care service. The successful candidate will work as a practising GP while also helping to shape clinical standards, workflows, patient services and the future development of the practice. Candidate Requirements  Completed recognised vocational training in General Practice / Family Medicine within the EU  Hold a recognised specialist qualification in Family Medicine / General Practice  Ideally 5 or more years of post-training GP experience  Experience working independently in a primary care setting  Strong clinical decision-making skills  Excellent spoken and written English  Strong communication and teamwork skills  Interest in practice management and clinical leadership  Eligible for registration with the Irish Medical Council Specialist Division in General Practice  Willing to relocate to Ireland on a long-term basis Experience in management, teaching, quality improvement, chronic disease management or practice development would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities  Provide general medical services to private and eligible public patients  Act as Clinical Lead for the practice  Help establish clinical governance and operating procedures  Support the development of patient pathways and clinical protocols  Work closely with nursing and administrative staff  Support recruitment and mentoring of additional doctors  Contribute to the development of the practices GMS and private patient services  Help develop a high-quality, efficient and patient-focused primary care service
