Floor Form (Ireland) Limited are seeking Commercial Floor Installers to join the team based in Co. Meath. The role involves preparing and installing floors including linoleum, vinyl, carpet, coved skirtings amongst other types. The key responsibilities include: - Meeting with our management team and inspecting sites to determine the most appropriate flooring solutions. - Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, if applicable. - Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions. - Preparing the work surface by applying damp proof membranes, primers, levelling compounds, adhesive, or other appropriate materials. - Laying linoleum sheet flooring, vinyl sheet flooring, vinyl tile flooring, luxury vinyl tiles, coved skirtings, carpet tiles, and other types of flooring. - Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean. - Completing the installation by applying appropriate finishes. - Following safe procedures. Requirements: - Prior experience as a flooring installer - Catalog of completed flooring installations - Valid driver’s licence. - Good arithmetic skills - Ability to install all types of flooring with minimal supervision - Capable of independent and team work. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities - Physically fit and able to lift bulky, heavy equipment and materials. The salary range for this role is €37,543.59 - €40,000 per annum based on a standard 40-hour week.
