We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Crèche Manager to lead a modern childcare service in Laytown, Co. Meath. The crèche opened recently and is part of a successful and rapidly growing childcare group that is continuing to expand its services. This role would suit an experienced childcare professional who is ready to take the next step in their career, lead a dedicated team and play an important role in the continued development and success of the Laytown service. Key Responsibilities - Oversee the day-to-day management of the crèche. - Lead, support and motivate the childcare team. - Ensure the service provides a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for all children. - Maintain high standards of care and education throughout the service. - Ensure compliance with Tusla regulations, policies and procedures. - Manage staff rotas, training, performance and ongoing development. - Build positive relationships with children, parents, staff and external professionals. - Support the continued growth and development of the crèche. - Ensure all records and documentation are maintained accurately. Requirements - A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education, ideally QQI Level 6 or above. - Previous management or supervisory experience within a crèche or early years setting. - Strong knowledge of Tusla regulations and the Early Years Quality and Regulatory Framework. - Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. - A genuine passion for delivering high-quality childcare. - Ability to work confidently and effectively in a busy childcare environment. - Eligible to work in Ireland. - Successful completion of Garda Vetting will be required.
