We are looking for a full-time farm operative to undertake and assist with tasks on our 350+ cow dairy farm. This person will undertake a range of duties such as; Milking in new 32 unit milking parlour– Following standard operating procedures, monitoring milk quality, ensuring clean hygienic milking equipment, etc… Stock management - implementing the agreed plan for calving, calf rearing and breeding. Machinery duties – Feeding cattle, shed clearing, slurry spreading, etc. Maintenance – fencing, cleaning, general farm work etc... Working with existing staff on our farm Personal abilities essential to fulfil this role include an enthusiastic work attitude, self-initiative, and good people skills. The candidate must have; A full EU drivers licence for driving a car and tractor Permit / passport to work in the European Union The ability to speak English is advantageous but not required.
