Role Overview:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our service users with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence, and providing personal care in their own homes. Your work will make a significant impact on improving the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist service users with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Provide support with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and mobility.
Assist with medication management, including reminders and prompting.
Support clients with emotional and psychological well-being.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of service users at all times.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and the team.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in a healthcare or homecare setting is essential.
A compassionate and caring nature with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Flexibility and a willingness to work varied hours.
A relevant healthcare qualification (or working toward) (e.g., QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support) is required.
Full clean driving license is an advantage.
