Clare V14 FT53 The ideal candidate will be an experienced HGV Mechanic responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles, commercial vehicles and associated equipment. Duties will include carrying out routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults, performing repairs to engines, gearboxes, braking systems, suspension and steering components, and preparing vehicles for CVRT testing. The role requires the ability to identify defects, complete preventative maintenance programmes, maintain accurate service records and respond to vehicle breakdowns when required. Candidates should have a recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or a related discipline, together with experience maintaining HGVs and commercial fleets. Experience working with waste collection, resource recovery or specialist vehicles would be advantageous. The successful candidate will work closely with workshop and operations teams to ensure all vehicles remain safe, compliant, reliable and available for daily operations while adhering to health, safety and environmental procedures. This is a full-time role of 39 hours per week with an annual salary range of €36,605-€41,000. Interested applicants should send their CV to [apply via link]
