Crop Maintenance: Watering, fertilizing, pruning, weeding, and mulching to promote healthy growth. Pest and Disease Control: Monitoring plants for pests or diseases, applying pesticides or organic treatments, and removing affected plants. Soil Preparation: Testing and amending soil, tilling, and preparing beds for planting. Harvesting: Picking fruits, vegetables, flowers, or other crops at optimal times, ensuring quality and minimal damage. Equipment Operation: Using and maintaining tools like shovels, pruners, sprayers, or machinery such as tractors or mowers. Key Requirements: Physical Fitness: Ability to perform labour-intensive tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods, often outdoors in varying weather.
