Derry White Agricultural Contractors Ltd, based at Mountplummer, Broadford, Limerick, P56 N224, is a growing company operating in the agricultural sector, specialising in the distribution and handling of high-quality animal feed. We are seeking a Junior Warehouse Manager to join our team at Deep Water Berth, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, P43 WV56. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day management of warehouse, stock control and logistics operations. Duties will include supervising and coordinating warehouse staff, allocating duties, overseeing the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate stock and inventory records, and coordinating cargo handling and logistics activities. The Junior Warehouse Manager will also support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, monitoring staff performance, maintaining health and safety standards, liaising with suppliers and transport providers, and ensuring that operational procedures are followed correctly. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including supervisory responsibilities. Experience in stock control and warehouse procedures is required, together with good organisational, leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of health and safety procedures is also required. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 39 hours per week, with a salary of €36,605 per annum.
