We are seeking a Maintenance & Lifestyle Services Inspector to join our team and oversee property inspections and maintenance requirements for both private and commercial clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting properties following client move-outs, assessing the condition of the property, identifying works required, and providing clear and accurate reports and recommendations. The role will involve working closely with clients, contractors and internal management to ensure that required works are arranged and completed to a high standard.
This is a hands-on and client-facing position requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple properties and maintenance requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Visit residential and commercial properties following move-out inspections.
Inspect properties and identify maintenance, repair and remedial works required.
Compile detailed inspection reports and clearly communicate required works.
Liaise directly with clients regarding property condition and recommended works.
Obtain and coordinate required maintenance and repair services.
Arrange works with appropriate contractors and service providers.
Monitor and oversee maintenance works to ensure they are completed appropriately and within agreed timescales.
Keep accurate records of inspections, works required, works arranged and completion status.
Communicate regularly with senior and internal management regarding property maintenance requirements.
Coordinate with in-house management where other services are required.
Provide support to the wider operation as required.
Key Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in property maintenance, inspections, facilities management, property services or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify maintenance and repair requirements.
Excellent communication and client-management skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
The ability to coordinate multiple jobs and contractors simultaneously.
Good report-writing and administrative skills.
A practical understanding of property maintenance and repair works.
The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with senior management and colleagues.

About the Position
This role is primarily focused on property inspection, assessment, coordination and oversight of maintenance and remedial works.
The successful candidate will work closely with in-house management, who will coordinate other property services such as cleaning. Managing cleaning operations will not form part of this role's remit.
The position offers an opportunity to take responsibility for an important part of the property services operation while working directly with private and commercial clients and supporting the senior management team.
