Lohermore Farms Ltd is currently seeking to employ Maintenance Electricians / Fitters for its site at Cahir Farm, Loughloher, Cahir, Co. Tipperary.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, control panels, lighting, feeding, drinking, and ventilation systems.
Maintaining and repairing farm and mill machinery and equipment.
Carrying out mechanical maintenance, including bearings, chains, gearboxes, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
Performing welding and fabrication work as required.
Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime.
Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns and carrying out safe and effective repairs.
Ensuring all work complies with Irish health and safety standards and farm biosecurity procedures.
Maintaining accurate maintenance and safety records.
Following all general safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position is required.
Relevant electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience is essential.
The ability to work safely and independently is desirable.
Salary €36,605 per annum, based on a standard 39-hour working week.
